Pum'Awards 2024: discover the finalists!

The Pum'Awards 2023 Reading Committee - Rennes SB Alumni - met to decide which projects would be selected for the final phase of the competition: presentation to the jury!

Thank you to all the participants for their proposals, and congratulations to the winning projects!

Here are the names of the finalists in the 2 categories:

CONTRACTOR CATEGORY :

  • Neoca - 60% of cyclists do not wear a helmet for one main reason: aesthetics. In response, Neoca is the first approved helmet with an interchangeable textile cover that looks like a cap or bonnet. A promise: to be able to ride in complete safety, with style, while doing our bit for the planet. -> Project run by Romane LE SCOUR (MSc IE 2023)

  • Le Local Cosporting - Project to create a multi-activity space including sports, a bar/restaurant and offices. Consultancy for sporting events in the Brittany region. -> Project run by Augustin SIMON (PGE 21) & Le Port Maxim

  • Medisport - MediSport's ambition is to transform the management of injury risks in sport through a proactive, athlete-centred approach. Specifically, Medisport is an application with two interfaces (coach and player), independent of each other, but designed to prevent, communicate and promote each other. MEDISPORT works with leading sports medicine experts to provide the tools needed for effective injury prevention, better management of mental and physical health, and personalised support throughout the athlete's medical career. -> Project run by Victor LECUELLE (PGE 31)

  • Sunu Green Fodder - We produce and distribute livestock feed in West Africa. Faced with a shortage in quantity and quality, Panicum Maximum offers a solution. Our aim is to improve livestock feed, increase food security and support the agricultural economy of the region through a highly profitable business -> Project run by Rémy Bell (PGE 27) & Youssoupha SECK, Moustapha TALL

  • Supperhero - Supperhero allows food creators to heat up the pot! What could be better than making a living doing what you love? Supperhero is a platform that helps food creators and chefs on social networks to make a living from their content and talents. -> Project run by  Vincent LABASSE (PGE 12)

  • Win For You - Our gym aims to combat isolation and lack of physical activity by offering personalised support. Through a variety of sporting activities and events, we work to prevent physical and mental ill-health. Supported by several networks, our aim is to help people live well and age well. -> Project run by Anaïs BAZILLE (MSc)

ASSOCIATION CATEGORY :

  • BDS - As the Sports Office (BDS) of the Rennes School of Business, we are committed to organising events that combine sport and social responsibility. With this in mind, we are offering an introduction to handisport basketball in partnership with the Handisport Rennes Club, a local association dedicated to promoting sport for people with disabilities. -> Project run by Erine DESCHAMPS (PGE 34)

  • Dirigeant.e.s intrépides - is an association whose aim is to inspire business leaders to transform their business model. The association organises events (36h impact in 2023) and produces a podcast ('dirigeant.e.s intrépides') which profiles inspiring leaders who have invented a new way of being an entrepreneur -> Project run by Olivia Alvarez- Guibaud (PGE 15)

  • From Idea To - is an association that aims to make entrepreneurship an option for everyone, in particular through fun events and a support programme -> Project run by Lauryne EBONGUE (PGE 32).

  • Les Ami-e-s de Kaggwa - For almost 30 years, the Kaggwa Welcome Centre, located in the village of Kaitabawala in Uganda and certified as a non-profit organisation, has been working in a spirit of solidarity, focusing on three areas

  • Access to education

  • Reception

  • Implementation of educational projects

The finalists are due to present their projects to the Jury at the Awards Ceremony on the Rennes SB Campus in Rennes on September 17 .

At the end of the day's deliberations, 3 winners in the Entrepreneur category and 2 winners in the Association category will be announced.

A reminder of the issues at stake:

This year, Rennes SB Alumni will award :

  • 3 business development projects
  • 2 associative projects
  • 3 Alumni involved in the network

The winners in the "Association" and "Entrepreneur" categories will each receive a prize of €2,500.
