Giving wings to the ambitions of its students is the mission that the Fondation Rennes School of Business has set itself. To support access to higher education for every young person driven by the desire to learn and create, regardless of their background or social origin.

A Foundation aligned with Rennes SB’s new strategic plan
In January 2024, Rennes School of Business presented its 2024-2028 strategic plan. In line with this, it is launching its Foundation and putting into action its third strategic area, “Unframed Community”, aimed at multiplying its positive impact through actions carried out within its ecosystem.

Advancing social diversity in higher education
Because talent is everywhere, the Rennes School of Business Foundation, which is under the aegis of the Fondation de France, supports the ambitions of young people from modest backgrounds and promotes inclusive access to higher education, without financial, social, cultural or geographical barriers.

The Foundation is chaired by Hassan Triqui, co-founder of SECURE-IC and an alumnus of Rennes SB
Hassan Triqui was elected Chairman by the Executive Committee and is accompanied by Wafâa Mbarki, Managing Director.

“Diversity is our strength. With support from the Foundation, the School, its Alumni, benefactors, and partners, we strive to equip young individuals with the means to pursue their ambitions, facilitate entry into higher education and counteract limiting beliefs and self-censorship from an early age.”
Hassan Triqui, President of the Rennes SB Foundation

The Foundation is deploying 3 strategic priorities supported by a wide range of aid schemes

  • Social diversity & equal opportunities to open up the field of possibilities.
  • Support for entrepreneurship to encourage innovation and creativity.
  • Developing research to broaden knowledge.

A number of solidarity initiatives will be implemented, including the award of grants for students from low-income backgrounds, the fight against self-censorship in Breton secondary schools, tech summer camps, research chairs on societal issues and grants for entrepreneurs with a social impact.
